Security Working Committee

The Security Working Committee is AmCham Sweden’s primary committee for dealing with matters pertaining to security and risk.

The Committee’s mission is to advise AmCham member companies as well as key stakeholders on global and local security risks affecting their business operations, or risks with the potential to affect operations in the future. The Committee’s activities are open to senior leaders and security executives from AmCham member companies.

Committee seminars and roundtable discussions will focus on both physical and digital threats, and feature experts from AmCham member organizations, and the U.S. Embassy’s global network, supplemented with local public and private sector security experts.

Mission

  • Support the Overseas Security Advisory Council (OSAC) in identifying, tracking, and reporting trends, including sharing information about incidents of relevance to AmCham members

  • Be a resource to educate AmCham members on cybersecurity

Key Tasks

  • Coordinate with AmCham member organizations to identify common areas of interest and drive those topics with the interested parties
