Our statement on the second anniversary of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine

February 24th marked the second anniversary of the Russian invasion of Ukraine. This aggression continues to cause immense suffering, violates international law, and destabilizes global security. AmCham Sweden reiterates its solidarity with the people of Ukraine and commends their resilience. Our support for democratic values, the rule of law, and human rights remains unwavering. We extend our sympathies to everyone impacted by this conflict, including our AmCham Ukraine colleagues.

As the war continues, AmCham Sweden applauds the unity and dedication demonstrated by nations on both sides of the Atlantic in supporting Ukraine. We hope that U.S., Swedish, and EU leaders will maintain their resolve, and redouble their efforts to help Ukraine.

Ukraine is not alone in this struggle.Their fight to preserve their democracy and freedom is a fight to preserve democracy and freedom for us all. AmCham Sweden remains steadfast in its commitment to stand with Ukraine until a just and lasting peace is achieved.
