Cross Border M&A: Strategy, tips and country comparisons

The topic was about cross border Merger & Acquisitions and included speakers from Edwards Angell Palmer & Dodge (EAPD), a U.S. law firm with offices also in London and Hong Kong, Carnegie, the Nordic investment bank and Deloitte.

The seminar was organized as a panel discussion. The panel consisted of Al Sokol of EAPD's Boston office, who also acted as the moderator, Anders Söderlind of Setterwalls, David Ramm of EAPD's London office, Andreas Marcetic of Deloitte and Christer Janson of Carnegie. The panel discussed the differences and similarities of various cross-border M&A topics, e.g. basic M&A value propositions, pre-merger preparations, deal structures and the top ten mistakes made in a M&A transaction.
