AmCham's Professional Development Program

 

AmCham Sweden is pleased to announce the launch of the first "Professional Development Program" for our young professionals - involving both Mentees and Mentors. The program is especially designed for AmCham members by Stinson Partners and will feature executive speakers from our membership.

AmCham introduces a Professional Development Program, designed to guide young professionals (YP) in building skills, awareness and pathways to advance in their careers.   Our program is a hands-on, workshop-based curriculum that exposes YPs to the detailed characteristic of being a high performer, to the leadership skills required to run a business, and to options one can take to gain relevant experience in their profession.   Industry leading executive from AmCham's membership will be guest speakers at our monthly meetings, and will facilitate the workshop's discussion sessions.

Most importantly, the YP participants will be matched with an AmCham executive for mentoring.  We encourage the mentees and mentors to meet every four to six weeks, and to create open lines of communication for questions that may arise between meetings.  The richness of our program is anchored in the incredible collection of executives in Stockholm, who are excited to share their stories and lessons learned with us.

The first session starts on November 21st. Seven workshops will follow thereafter for a total of eight months.  If you are interested in joining, please apply at latest on October 28, 2011.
