Creative Director/Storytelling - Made by Copeland

Mary Lee Sjönell is the hardest working Digital Age Dramaturg in Europe and beyond.  She inspires advertisers, agencies, small business owners and individuals to develop great stories by identifying the strongest theme for their brands.  She's a producer, script doctor and ad agency veteran.  Scripts doctored and produced by Mary Lee helped launch the international careers of some of the top directors from Scandinavia, among them the late Johan Camitz, Fredrik Bond, Traktor, ACNE, Johan Renck and Adam Berg.  Mary Lee has presented at TEDx, produced award-winning commercials for clients including H&M, and is a regular on the Cannes Lions Festival stage speaking on the subject of Storytelling.  She is the driving force behind Copeland, a commercial production firm based in New York, Sweden and Finland.

On the panel:

Amy Laine

Founder - Hyperlaine

HYPERLAINE specialize in “hyperlocal” and helps business owners who may not have the time, initiative, or the expertise to successfully market their businesses and consults with media companies to develop programs and tools for the independent  business owner.  Given that many small businesses in urban centers draw on customers within a less than 8-block radius for the majority of their business, Amy defines hyperlocal simply: “it means knowing your neighbors.”  Amy brings deep experience to the small business space from her 15+ years in marketing leadership roles at media companies including Hachette and nymag.com, where she energized sales teams and created award-winning integrated programs for Fortune 500 companies.

Mira Olsson

Founder/Creative Director, Lovely (Amsterdam)

Mira Olsson is co-founder of Lovely, an advertising agency based in Amsterdam that is currently working with a wonderful and bold Finnish airline called Blue1.  She started her career making coffee at a leading ad agency fifteen years ago and went on to be the most internationally acclaimed advertising creative in Finland with five Cannes Lions, six New York Festival awards, four Eurobest awards and three Epica awards under her belt.  Before settling in Amsterdam she also enjoyed working with people she admires in advertising agencies in Cape Town, London and Los Angeles.

She can’t take cynicism and thinks only inspiring communication is good communication.
