U.S. Department of Commerce: "The National Export Initiative"

We invite you to meet with Mr Juan Verde, Deputy Assistant Secretary for Europe from the U.S. Department of Commerce in Washington DC on June 14. He will brief us about "The National Export Initiative - what it means to transatlantic trade".

Juan Verde was appointed to serve as Deputy Assistant Secretary for Europe and Eurasia at the U.S. Department of Commerce by President Barack Obama in December 2009. Mr. Verde is responsible for developing and recommending policies and programs, as well as directing their implementation, with respect to U.S. economic and commercial relations with 52 countries.

Prior to his appointment, Mr. Verde served as founder and former president of Public Administration Strategy Solutions (PASS®), a consulting firm that identifies, analyzes and communicates best practices for governments and corporations, specializing in international trade and renewable energies.
