The new pharmaceutical market – threats and possibilities

We invite you to an afternoon seminar on February 3rd, from 15.00 to 18.00, about the re-regulated pharmaceutical market in Sweden. It will have a great impact on the retail market and the Industry. Sweden will go from 950 to approximately 1 600 pharmacies in a couple of years. The County Councils (landstingen) will also be a new more active player.

Date:                February 3rd, 2011
Time:               15.00 to 18.00
Venue:             Delphi Law Firm, Regeringsgatan 30-32, Stockholm
Cost:                Free of charge

Some of the issues to be discussed at the seminar:

* According to statements from the Ministry of Health all will be winners. The State will win, the customers will win and the pharmacies will win.

* Who will pay for the reregulated market and all the costs related to increased marketing,  logistics, custom relations, stock keeping, sales functions, premises etc?

* What have we learned from the Norwegian reregulated market (2001) experience? Will the present government continue the reformation of the reregulated market?

* Will the present price model be changed?

* Horizontal integration from/to consumer product goods, health and beauty sectors?

* Reregulation from a competition law perspective
