Date: Tuesday, June 10 2008
Time: 9.00 - 12.00
Place: Grand Hôtel, Stockholm
If 2007 will be remembered as the year when Climate Change got everybody’s attention 2008 will mark the year of corporate action.
This conference is not meant to prescribe or persuade companies to do anything. There are enough of these seminars around. This conference is for companies that have already decided on a corporate climate policy or are on the verge of doing so. These companies are of course looking for practical tools to implement their C02 policy.
This conference will present the latest developments in energy efficiency and alternative energy. No dream stuff. Just things that are on the market and commercially available.
The American Chamber of Commerce in Sweden (AmCham Sweden) and the Swedish National Committee of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC Sweden) have in a joint effort assembled people representing different aspects of climate change to present current trends and future developments in business actions.
Climate Change Day carries the entrepreneurial spirit of “can do” in contrast to voices proclaiming doom and gloom. In 2008 we focus on:
- Choices in Energy Input
- Transport and Logistics
- Office and Works Premises
- Supply Chain C02 consistency
- Costs and Opportunities
Come and be inspired by drivers of change!
Registration: The event is free of charge.
Please send binding registration by May 28 to amcham@chamber.se
