When the United Kingdom recently introduced its new Bribery Bill, it marked a new era of anti-corruption legislation in Europe. In Sweden proposals for new legislation and furthermore a Code of Conduct for Business have just been presented. In the US, the OIG inspectors have new far reaching tools in corporate investigation. All of this will have far reaching implications for companies doing business in these jurisdictions.
This seminar will focus on the practical aspects of ensuring business integrity and compliance. It will also address some of the issues that a business may face when confronted with allegations of corrupt practices.
