We are proud to welcome three new members to the AmCham Sweden board of directors: Karin Bernadotte, Managing Director, MSD;  Per Adolfsson, CEO, Microsoft and Leif Lindqvist, Country General Manager, IBM Svenska AB.

Karin Bernadotte was appointed Managing Director at MSD Sweden in 2006. She has  previously held positions as Business Unit Director in Sweden, EME&A Regional Marketing Director, US and Director for Markeing & Sales. Karin has a Pharmacy Master’s Degree from the University of Uppsala in Sweden. She is married and has two children.

Leif Lindqvist was appointed General Manager of IBM Svenska AB in January 2010. Prior to this appointment he has held a number of senior management positions both in Sweden and internationally since joining IBM in 1983. Leif has held positions such as Director of the Personal Computing Division in the Nordic Region, General Manager of IBM Global Services in the Nordic Region and General Manager for Strategic Outsourcing for North East Europe.  He has been stationed in Zürich, Switzerland, Paris, France, and Copenhagen, Denmark.

Per Adolfsson has worked in the IT industry for 24 years. He started his career at Norsk Data in 1986 as the sales support engineer then 19 years he worked on Compaq who later became HP, where he held various sales leader positions and finally Director of HP Services in Sweden. In October 2008 started Per at Microsoft as Sales Manager at the Department for small and medium companies and partners. In October 2009, he became Sweden's CEO at Microsoft.

Hans Enocson, National Executive Nordic Region including Estonia and Latvia at GE is appointed new Chairman of the Board. Bengt Sjögren is now vice Chairman.
