Richard Marston of MTG Academy – vice Chairman of the AmCham Board – announced that the CSR committee and Green committee will be more active than ever this coming year. 2009 coming to an end, managing director Berit Salheim at AmCham thanked the members and partners for their support and cooperation during 2009. For many in the crowd it was an occasion to get acquainted with some of AmCham’s sponsors, who were vying to give away the prize of the year.Andreas Lindmark from Konstbar presented Kathleen Fiorello with a painting that would grace any living room.Thomas Nilsson of Deloitte is going to have to train hard to survive the Triathlon event that he won from the hands of Anders Nilsson at BallBreaker.A stay at Högfjällshotellet in Sälen went to Pål Jebsen of JKL Group. The final prize of the evening – a flight for two to the Big Apple with Continental Airlines – was won by David Brotzen of The Performance Group! But there were many other winners in the crowd that evening, because AmCham brought together a great festive mix from business, government, military and research. We rubbed elbows with headhunters, designers, event managers, IT executives and consultants. And more than once we heard people say they had come across friends they hadn’t seen in years. So don’t miss the next one!Happy Holidays!
