We are pleased to welcome Jim Mumper from IC Global as our keynote speaker at this interesting Young Professionals event. Jim has over 20 years experience as a multi-national project manager for both American as well as Swedish organizations, working in several different countries. His work experience includes managing multiple projects while living and working in Asia, Russia, Sweden and the US. IC Global is a management consultant firm with expertise within cultural management.

Today’s globalized world offers more opportunities to the individual but also poses more challenges. Doing business in an inter-cultural setting is a lot more than just knowing how to greet one another properly. Negotiation strategies, cultural context and values, among other factors play a much larger role than many think. The risk of misunderstanding is high and costly. When looking beyond our borders, we cannot afford to ignore the culture factor. Jim will help us improve our understanding for the cultural dimension of business.
