Instability on the stock market, global financial crisis and the collapse of large, well known institutions has seriously damaged trust in corporate organisations. What will be demanded from companies and business leaders in this new situation in order to restore trust in the role businesses play?
The Edelman Trust Barometer, which measures individuals’ trust in corporate organisations and institutions, is now presented for the tenth year. This year’s survey comprises 20 countries, including Sweden, and 4 475 individuals 25-65 years old. Richard Edelman, CEO of Edelman Public Relations Worldwide, presents this year´s results at World Economic Forum in Davos on the 27th of January. The interviews have been carried out by StrategyOne, Edelman’s research division, in November and December 2008.
